Donation Drop-off locations

We are sad to announce that 2019 will be the last year of our Annual Princess Event.

Thank you for your willingness to donate to Operation Glass Slipper. Since we have sufficient inventory to stage the 2019 event, we are no longer accepting donations. You might consider taking your items to a local thrift store or consignment shop.

Dear Mary, My daughter is 15 and is planning on going to The Shriners Prom with her friend. The Prom is April 7th, she has invited a friend. Both the girls are in need of dresses. We are located in Red Wing, are you able to assist?

Unfortunately our event was held March 10-11 this year. We are only able to hold it for one weekend each year.

I have a wedding dress from 1986 that was cleaned and preserved in a box. Do you take donated wedding dresses from this far back?

Thank you.

Hi-

I am thinking about donating my wedding dress to your organization and wanted to know if you get a tax write off. Please let me know if you have information on the website or that you can send. Thank you- marisa

I just have a few questions about the tax receipts that we can get after we
make our donation. I was going to drop off the dresses at Weddings by Tess
next week sometime. Now all I have to do is email this email address and l
et you know that I would like a tax receipt for my donation. Is there a wait time for this receipt? Do you put the value of the dresses on the receipt
or is that something I do?
Thanks for in advance for the answers to my questions.

I have several dress that I would like to donate but live outside the metro area. I would like to confirm that OPS is still an active organization before sending my dresses so that I know they will be put to good use. Can some confirm that OPS is still active and where I send my dresses too?

We are still active (just awful about dealing with comments on our website). You can mail dresses to 3295 80th St E, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55076. We sincerely appreciate that you thought of us!

If you can mail dresses in Inver Grove Heights, can you also drop off there?

Are you still taking wedding dresses? I have a size 6 beautiful gown never worn – my granddaughters wedding was cancelled. I live in South Minneapolis.

Hi Mary, Unfortunately we don’t currently have anywhere in Minneapolis. You can look at our donation drop offs page. If this doesn’t work, please reach out on our Facebook page. We can help coordinate a better solution for you. Thanks!
